A place remember. a restaurant to go to when in Rome, trastevere district. Probably one of the best meals we had in Rome. While I didn't have the rabbit, I wish I would have.

13 Churches a heck of a lot of waking. Pasta with clams: excellent. Wine, pizza, churches walking .....walking ....walking.....

Chains of St Peter

I made it to Roma!

I made it to the Eternal City after about 18 hours on planes and at airports. I took the train from airport to the Termini Station. I was very tired until I consumed a couple glasses of wine and a double shot of espresso. I was ready to go. We saw several several churches including S Maria Maggiore (St. Mary Major) and the Basilica of Saint Parxedes. Walking the narrow cobble stones is worth the trip by itself. as we walked somewhat aimlessly we stumbled upon the Colosseum! That was only after we went to St. Peter in Chains church where we saw the chain which held St. Peter and Michelangelo's Moses. All of this was in the first day.

I'm Leaving For Rome Italy Tomorrow. I will be departing Milwaukee and going to Rome via Detroit and Amsterdam.

I will arive in Rome (Fiumicino) at 8:35AM local time. Note Rome is seven hours ahead of Milwaukee
